Safeguarding: Level 3

A certificated course offering a comprehensive overview of Safeguarding for all practitioners.

Get up to speed in knowing your responsibilities and identifying potential safeguarding issues.

While there are many courses offering on-line training, PACT believes that on-line safeguarding training is not the best option. Remote training offers little or no opportunity for questions, feedback, casework scenarios or interaction and engagement with other practitioners.

All of these aspects are vital to ensure that participants leave at the end of the day with a full and comprehensive understanding of their roles and responsibilities with regard to safeguarding.

Don't take the short cut - on-line is not always 'on target.'

Course content:

  • Introduction – What is Safeguarding? / What is abuse?

  • Who abuses / Who is abused?

  • The impact of abuse

  • The legal context for children and adults.

  • Listening and good practice.

  • Information sharing.

  • Prevent and the β€˜new’ duties.

Please note: Full attendance for the whole day is required, in order to receive the Level 3 Safeguarding Certificate.
